Our organisation is looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician for our residential buildings in Hamilton, ON.
What you will Do:
1) General carpentry:
- Removing and replacing kitchen and bathroom cabinets
- Adjusting and installing doors and closet doors
- removing and installing baseboards,
- fix windows, and repair screens
2) Install stairway railings
3) Remove and install kitchen appliances
4) Install flooring and removal of laminate floors, vinyl floors, tile floors
5) Dry walling, plastering, patching and painting
6) Repair areas in a unit due to water damage
7) Basic plumbing: taps, faucets, pipes, repair leaks, installing toilets and sink
8) Basic electrical: replace and install light fixtures
9) Appliance installation and removal
10) Changing of locks
11) Removal of items in unit for turnover
12) Maintain the storage shop room
13) Dispose of material according to our standards and policies
14) Perform other related duties including service calls as required
What You Will Bring to The Role
Qualifications:
- Two years experience
- Carpentry, pluming, painting skills
- Problem solving skills
- Written and oral communication
