Job Summary: Sous Chef
We are seeking a skilled line cook and a great leader who understands culture, process, and world class standards to add to our team as sous chef. We are a 100 seat Modern Bistro specializing in scratch cooking at a higher volume in a beautiful restaurant in North Kildonan.
Chef Randy Greig has brought a fresh outlook to our current menu and is in the early stages of our next menu to be released August 21.
Our culture is very strong with a positive work lifestyle, professional but fun attitude, and a desire for learning and self development. Our dining room closes at 9pm. We base salary on 40 productive hours a week. We work hard and go home knowing we did our best effort everyday.
Our Sous Chef must love brunch, lunch and dinner at a high level of quality and creativity.
Ideally you know inventory, systems, checklists, and are able to work in an environment focused on continuous improvement. Weekends, days and night flexibility an asset.
This is a growing company with more on the horizon. There is a lot of growth potential and opportunity for entrepreneurship and FOH training providing further opportunity in our future.
