Probably Nothing is one of Collingwood’s most unique cafés—known for ceremonial-grade matcha, fresh bagels baked daily, exceptional coffee, and an atmosphere people genuinely want to be part of. We’re looking for a leader with energy. Someone who thrives in a busy environment, inspires people, sets high standards, and isn’t afraid to jump behind the bar, coach the team, hire great people, or solve problems on the fly. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the café, helping to build an exceptional team, recruiting, hiring, training and help develop employees, maintaining outstanding operational standards, managing labour and inventory, and creating an environment where both guests and staff love coming to work.
This isn’t a job for someone who wants to sit in an office. We want someone who’s present on the floor, leads by example, notices the little things, and understands that hospitality is about creating memorable experiences—not just serving coffee.
We’re not looking for someone who’s simply managed a café. We’re looking for someone who brings energy, inspires people, and wants to build something guests talk about. You should love being around people, embrace a fast-paced environment, have a great eye for detail, and genuinely enjoy developing others into a strong team.
