Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House Staff to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service in a welcoming environment. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and manage seating arrangements efficiently
- Take orders accurately using POS system (PetPooja)
- Handle cash and process payments with proper cash handling procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and special requests
- Assist with food and beverage service, including serving food and drinks
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, tables, and service stations
- Support food handling and basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction management
- Experience in hospitality or serving roles is advantageous
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Prior kitchen or food industry experience is beneficial but not mandatory
