Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. As a Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and labor resources effectively to maintain project schedules.
- Utilize construction management software to track project progress, budgets, and timelines.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure work meets specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop accurate budgets and forecasts for construction projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure proper execution of plans.
- Prepare reports on project status, including any issues or delays that may arise.
- Utilize tools such as ProCore and Bluebeam for project documentation and communication.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management software and tools, including ProCore and Bluebeam.
- Proficient in budgeting, construction estimating, blueprint reading, and quality control processes.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead teams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members, clients, and stakeholders at all levels.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for all personnel on-site.
