Overview
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and takes pride in preparing high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in food service or as a barista is an asset; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks according to company standards
- Operate POS systems (including Micros POS) for order processing and cash handling
- Take customer orders accurately and ensure timely service
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy and attention to detail
- Assist with food preparation, serving, and maintaining food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, equipment, and service stations
- Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Address customer inquiries and ensure a positive guest experience
- Follow all health, safety, and food handling regulations
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
Experience
- Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed

Pay: $17.60 per hour
