Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Counter Person to join our team. Answering phone calls and orders, and supporting daily operations at our location. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in automotive repair, dealership operations, or retail sales is a plus, along with proficiency in business systems and cash handling.
Duties
- Manage sales transactions accurately using business systems
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and process receipts with precision
- Provide product information and recommend items based on customer needs
- Support order fulfillment and inventory management tasks
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management
- Use organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during shifts
- Handle phone call orders in a fast paced environment
Skills
- Proven experience in dealership or retail sales environments preferred
- Proficiency with business systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills with excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities
- Ability to negotiate effectively
- Strong math skills for accurate transactions and order fulfillment
- Organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
We look for motivated individuals who learn fast in training and prefer previous experience in auto parts retail.
Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
