Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Landscape Operations Manager to lead and oversee our landscape construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of horticulture, irrigation, and gardening practices, and a proven track record in supervising teams. Duties
- Oversee daily operations of landscape construction teams, ensuring timely and efficient project completion
- Develop and implement landscape maintenance plans, strategies, goals.
- Supervise staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to foster a productive work environment
- Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and ensure customer satisfaction
- Plan and oversee landscape installation projects, including site preparation, planting, construction, and finishing touches
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies across all job sites
- Monitor project budgets and materials inventory to maintain cost-effective operations
- Conduct site inspections to maintain high standards of quality and professionalism
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape construction and maintenance, general construction and hardscaping.
- Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, landscape construction techniques, and horticultural practices
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective communication skills for team coordination and client interactions
- Ability to lead a team with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to landscaping and construction sites is preferred
- Prior experience in supervising staff within a landscape or construction environment is highly desirable
