Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalized support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This role is ideal for caring professionals who enjoy making a positive impact on others’ lives. The position involves working closely with clients of various ages, including children and adults with disabilities, to promote independence, safety, and well-being. Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming to ensure comfort and safety
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a clean living environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Support clients with mobility and transfers as needed, ensuring proper techniques are used for safety
- Engage clients in educational or recreational activities, including teaching new skills or hobbies
- Administer medication reminders and assist with health-related routines as directed by healthcare professionals
- Work with children or individuals with disabilities to promote development, learning, and independence
Requirements
- Prior experience in caregiving, teaching, or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
- Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills
- Ability to cook healthy meals and perform light cleaning tasks effectively
- Experience working with children is a plus
- Valid background check and ability to pass a screening process are required
- Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours including days and evenings as needed
- Certification in caregiving or first aid is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided for qualified candidates
