About the Role
This role combines face-to-face fundraising, team leadership, and leadership development.
At SunSpark, leaders lead from the front by fundraising alongside their teams while coaching, supporting, and developing new fundraisers.
You will help create a positive team culture, support daily operations, and play an important role in expanding our campaigns throughout the Vancouver region.
Candidates with previous fundraising leadership experience may be fast-tracked into additional management opportunities.
Key Responsibilities : Fundraising & Public Engagement
- Represent nonprofit partners through face-to-face fundraising campaigns
- Engage members of the public and inspire support for important causes
- Build meaningful connections and secure monthly donor support
- Represent SunSpark and our charity partners professionally and ethically
Leadership & Team Development
- Train, coach, and mentor new fundraisers
- Lead by example through strong personal performance
- Help create a motivated and high-performing team culture
- Support team members in achieving daily and weekly goals
About the Campaigns
At SunSpark Canvassing, we partner with internationally recognized nonprofit organizations such as Save the Children, SOS Children's Villages, and the Red Cross.
Our teams help raise awareness and secure ongoing support for important humanitarian initiatives and urgent global issues affecting vulnerable communities worldwide.

Schedule
This position is ideal for candidates seeking consistent full-time employment.
Campaigns take place at retail stores, shopping malls, shopping plazas, street locations, and community events.
We do not do door-to-door fundraising.
What We're Looking For
- Previous fundraising, sales, or leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and leadership mindset
- Comfortable speaking with members of the public throughout the day
- Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Passion for nonprofit and community causes
Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
Travel Requirements
Our campaigns operate throughout the Vancouver region, including Surrey, Burnaby, Coquitlam, and New Westminster. Team members may be required to travel between campaign locations.
Travel allowance and mileage reimbursement are provided.
