Overview
Arcamm Fire Protection Inc. is seeking a skilled Junior Fire Alarm Technician to join our growing team. Our company specializes in fire protection system inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance services for commercial and industrial clients.
The ideal candidate will have experience with fire alarm system inspections and service work while maintaining compliance with applicable Canadian codes and standards. This role requires attention to detail, and the ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members.
Requirements
- CFAA (Canadian Fire Alarm Association) Certification – REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and maintenance of fire alarm systems in accordance with applicable standards
- Inspect and service emergency lighting systems, fire extinguishers, and fire hoses
- Troubleshoot and diagnose fire alarm system issues and perform corrective actions
- Assist with and perform verification of fire alarm systems when required
- Identify system deficiencies and prepare detailed deficiency reports
- Complete accurate inspection reports and required documentation in Excel
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with management
- Ability to detect and resolve issues with alarm systems
