Robby’s Group is built on efficient operations and outstanding customer care. We are seeking an organized, personable Service Writer to act as the primary liaison between our customers and our shop technicians in Sydney.
Position Overview
As a Service Writer, you will bridge the gap between clients, technicians, and parts managers in a fast-paced environment. If you have experience in heavy truck/trailer repair, great communication skills, and computer proficiency, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers, listen to service concerns, provide accurate estimates, and schedule service appointments.
- Serve as the central point of contact between customers, shop mechanics, and administrative staff.
- Process work orders, payments, cash handling, customer accounts, and grievance resolutions.
- Collaborate closely with the Parts Manager to ensure required parts are available for scheduled repairs.
- Pick up, return, or deliver parts to technicians working on remote jobs when needed.
- Assist shop leadership with day-to-day coordination and administration.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Previous experience in heavy truck and trailer repair/service is required.
- Technical Skills: Strong mechanical knowledge, general computer proficiency, and cash handling experience.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license required (for local parts delivery/pickup).
Compensation & Benefits
