Micro Moves Inc. is a Canadian moving company operating in Toronto / GTA and Vancouver / Greater Vancouver Area. We're not your typical mover — cargo vans and Mercedes Sprinters instead of giant trucks, one-hour minimums, transparent pricing, same-day availability, and a brand identity people actually want to follow on Instagram. We're the only moving company in Canada doing exactly what we do at this level.
Why this role exists
Our operations team handles inbound calls and books the deals that close themselves. That's working well. But our marketing engine produces more leads than the team has bandwidth to chase properly. The result: significant revenue is leaking out the back door in the form of cold quotes, ghosted follow-ups, and lost deals that could have been recovered with the right second touch.
We need a closer. Not a phone agent — a closer. Someone whose entire job is going into the CRM, finding the deals that went cold, and bringing them back to life. Someone who treats every lost lead like money on the table — because that's exactly what it is.
What you'll own
- Lead recovery: Every morning, audit the CRM. Pull every cold quote, every unresponsive prospect, every pushback ticket from the last 24-72 hours. These are your deals to work.
- Outbound recovery calls and emails: Personalized, sharp, not templated. Re-engage prospects who've gone quiet. Identify why they hesitated. Move them back into the buying conversation.
- Objection handling: Price pushback, timing concerns, competitor comparisons, second-guessing — this is where you live. You don't bulldoze. You read the customer, address the real concern, and recover the deal.
- Negotiation within parameters: You'll have authority to flex on price, schedule, or value-adds within set limits to win the deal.
- Hand-off to operations: Once a lead is warm again, you hand it back to the ops team to finalize the quote and book the job. You don't execute moves — you recover deals.
- Pattern analysis: Track why leads go cold. Price? Response time? Specific competitors? Specific job types? Feed insights back to leadership to fix upstream.
- Surge support: During peak season or when operations is maxed out, step in on inbound phones as backup. This is occasional, not your primary role.
- AI-powered workflow: Use tools like Claude and ChatGPT to draft personalized recovery sequences at scale, summarize call notes, and analyze customer sentiment from past communications.
What we're looking for
- Real sales DNA — you've closed deals professionally and you have a track record to prove it
- Hunter mentality — you hate losing deals and you'll chase a lead 5-7 times without it feeling weird
- AI-fluent — you use Claude or ChatGPT every day and you understand prompt engineering
- CRM-experienced — you've used HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, GoHighLevel, or similar professionally
- High EQ — you can read a customer's emotional state on a call and adapt
- Strong written and verbal communication — you write recovery emails that don't feel like templates
- Competitive and self-directed — you don't need someone telling you who to chase
- Comfortable with commission-heavy comp — you want upside tied to results

Compensation
- Base: $40,000 – $50,000 CAD
- Commission: 3-8% of recovered booking revenue (uncapped)
- Quarterly performance bonus: $2,000 – $5,000 for consistent month-over-month lift
- Total potential year 1: $70,000 – $100,000+
