We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations, especially for technology items, to showcase features and benefits
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate POS systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Manage merchandising displays to ensure attractive and organized product presentation
- Provide accurate information about products, promotions, and store policies
- Maintain knowledge of current inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Support store organization through effective time management and organizational skills
Skills
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Experience in retail sales, especially in technology or merchandise sectors
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for transactions
- Demonstrated ability in customer service, upselling, and merchandising strategies
- Technical sales experience or conducting product demos is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a busy environment
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Knowledge of retail operations such as cashiering, inventory management, and POS procedures
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
