Job Summary
An Equipment Operator, under the direct supervision of the Assistant Superintendent or 2nd Assistant Superintendent, is responsible for operating light motorized equipment and performing related tasks required for the ongoing maintenance of the golf course.
Duties
- Perform daily equipment inspections, including checking fuel, oil, and other fluid levels, and report any deficiencies to the Mechanic or Assistant Superintendent immediately
- Report all equipment issues, malfunctions, or damage promptly to the Mechanic or Assistant Superintendent
- Clean and maintain assigned equipment on a daily basis to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Operate equipment in a safe, responsible manner, adhering to all workplace safety standards
The Operator will also carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
Experience
- Requires a valid drivers license.
- Knowledge of safe, efficient mechanical operation of tractors and other motorized equipment
- Ability to follow written and oral directions.
