Job Description
- Lead and perform Fitness-For-Service (FFS) Level 1 evaluations for piping and stationary equipment, supporting plant integrity and reliability
- Provide hands-on piping design support for plant modifications and upgrades, with a strong field-based focus
- Work closely with operations, maintenance and trades to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in a fast-paced plant environment
- Perform and/or support root cause analyses (RCA) in alignment with established reliability and RCA standards
- Support operations and maintenance departments with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to stationary equipment
- Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and ABSA requirements
- Oversight of structural analysis completed by third-party engineering
- Provide technical mentorship for Engineers-in-Training (EITs)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall plant reliability and performance
Job Requirements
- 8-12 years of relevant mechanical experience with oil & gas or petrochemical facilities
- Minimum 7 years of Canadian industry experience required
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineer registered with APEGA for a minimum of 5 years
- Strong hands-on experience in piping design and Fitness-For-Service (FFS) evaluations (Level 1 required, level 2/3 not required)
- Experience working directly in plant environments with trades and operations team (“boots-on-the-ground” approach)
- Outstanding organizational, attention to detail and problem-solving skills Communication, leadership, and mentorship skills

Pay: $120,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
