About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Marine Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair boats and marine equipment. The ideal candidate has experience with outboard/inboard engines, electrical systems, fiberglass repair, and general boat maintenance.
This position can be full time or seasonal depending on the candidate.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on boats
- Perform maintenance on outboard and inboard engines
- Install and repair marine electronics and accessories
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot performance problems
- Perform winterizing, commissioning, and seasonal maintenance
- Maintain accurate service records and work orders
- Keep the shop clean and follow safety procedures
Requirements
- Experience repairing boats or marine engines
- Knowledge of marine electrical and fuel systems
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Marine certification is an asset
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
