Position Overview
We’re hiring a Journeyman Plumber based in Victoria, BC. The ideal candidate has experience with hot water tank installs, troubleshooting service calls, and renovation plumbing. You’ll be part of a supportive and growing team, delivering trusted service to residential and commercial clients across Vancouver Island.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and service hot water tanks (residential & commercial)
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues on service calls
- Complete plumbing work for bathroom and kitchen renovations
- Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers about timelines, procedures, and costs
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Accurately document work performed, materials used, and job details
- Work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service plumber
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, troubleshooting, and local codes
- Hot water tank installation experience required
- Fourth-year plumbing apprentice or Red Seal Journeyman preferred
- Plumbing & Gas Ticket preferred
- Additional optional tickets considered an asset:
- Electrical Ticket
- Refrigeration Ticket
- Backflow Ticket
- Gas A Ticket
- Renovation plumbing experience is an asset
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Physically capable of lifting and handling plumbing tools, equipment, and materials
