The Role
We are looking for a litigator who is confident in their skills and experienced in handling their own files. Our firm handles a variety of legal matters; as such, a good fit for our office is someone who embraces unique legal issues, is able to collaborate with other team members, and is interested in litigating issues which may fall under, but are not limited to, the areas of Real Estate, Contracts, Corporate, and Estates.
Your Job
- Communicate directly with clients, lawyers, and other parties
- Guide clients through the process of litigation
- Advocate for clients both in and outside of Court
- Autonomously manage your own litigation files from start to finish
Qualifications
- Experienced in Alberta litigation
- Strong communication and client management skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent organizational, time management, and file management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in drafting, legal research, legal analysis, written, and oral advocacy
