As a MOTW Barista, you will prepare a variety of drinks including coffee, teas, smoothies, and more, while providing excellent customer service. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly as they enter the shop.
- Educate customers on our drink and pastry/food menu.
- Upsell special items on the menu.
- Handle cashier duties and take orders via the Clover system, writing drink orders on cups.
- Prepare pastries for in-house or to-go orders.
- Complete opening, daily, and closing procedures, ensuring tasks are fully checked off.
- Maintain a clean workspace behind the bar and in common café areas.
- Restock and organize inventory deliveries.
- Handle items delivered by team members, the owner, or other companies we partner with.
- Maintain a positive work environment, free of negative commentary, ensuring a fun and drama-free workplace.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Ensure brewing equipment is operating properly and report any maintenance needs.
- Comply with health and safety regulations.
- Foster a positive work environment with fellow employees, customers, and owners.

- Provide customer feedback to managers.
- Recognize and work around your strengths and weaknesses, and collaborate effectively with your teammates.
- Be adaptable to changes in systems and processes.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
- Arrive on time for all shifts.
Work Attire:
- Present yourself professionally as first impressions are crucial.
- No ripped jeans, crop tops, or graphic tees with political views or profanity.
- Wear closed-toe shoes; no sandals or slides unless they cover the toes.
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
