About the Role
Soluroc is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support our Cobourg operations. Reporting to the Production Manager, this role is critical to keeping our equipment running safely and efficiently while supporting daily production needs.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with equipment, and being part of a collaborative production environment.
What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and support production continuity
- Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and improvements
- Maintain maintenance logs and ensure equipment is operating within specifications
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Work closely with production and shipping teams to meet operational goals
Health & Safety
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Identify and report hazards, contributing to a safe work environment
- Ensure equipment is maintained and operated safely at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in industrial or production maintenance
- Strong mechanical aptitude (basic electrical knowledge is an asset)
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
