Duties:
- Prepare coupons and parts for coating including set up, inspection, cleaning, masking and grit blasting
- Operator robotic plasma spray cell to coat components
- Maintain equipment
Candidates with thermal spray experience (plasma spray, HVOF, Twin-wire arc, flame spray, etc.) are encouraged to apply, but this experience is not required as training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have great attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new task/skills
- Must be able to work safely and productively with minimal supervision
- Have experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
- Good hand on skills including the power tools use
- Be able to work as part of a team or independently
- Believe in continuous improvement
- Optional: experience in welding and/or machining, forklift operation, robot operation, Microsoft Office
All candidate must be permitted to work in Canada. No relocation assistance will be provided.
