Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our automotive repair team. Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage and develop repair plans in accordance with industry standards.
- Perform body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to execute repairs efficiently.
- Sand, buff, and refinish vehicle surfaces to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within scheduled timeframes.
- Follow safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines during all repair processes.
Experience
- Prior dealership experience or extensive automotive repair background is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components is essential.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and body repair equipment is required.
- Experience with heavy lifting and working on various vehicle models is advantageous.
- Previous mechanic experience or automotive bodywork certification will be considered a strong asset. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to delivering exceptional vehicle repairs while maintaining safety standards across all tasks performed.
