You as a Special Projects Manager (Building Group) will:
- Oversee all work that is considered Special Projects (Projects range from 50K to 60M)
- Provide financial reporting to the area manager & provide a detailed summary report of all active projects
- Plan the staffing of all operational staff; mentor and support all members on the special projects team
- Review and complete the IPR’s and PM reports for all projects in specials
- Assist with business development with clients and consultants and assist with pursuits and bids that are being submitted for specials projects
- Review project schedules and problem solve issues contractual, technical, and emotional
Complete the performance reviews all the members of the team and work with each of them on their career development

Is this the right role for you?
- 5+ years of experience in construction or relative technical knowledge in construction
- Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is an asset
- Full knowledge of contracts, trade coordination and client relations
- Ability to motivate and inspire their team
