Duties
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, coloring, and styling to meet client preferences and enhance their confidence
- Provide excellent customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering expert advice on hair care and styling options
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by properly disinfecting tools and workstations after each client
- Assist with retail sales by recommending hair care products suited to clients’ hair types and needs
- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication, ensuring they feel valued and satisfied with their experience
- Support team members in daily salon operations to ensure smooth workflow and a positive environment
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their styling desires
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, Perming,blow-drying, and finishing touches
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to uphold health standards within the salon environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members alike
- Experience in retail sales
- Excellent organizational skills for managing appointments, front desk duties, and maintaining a tidy workspace
- Enthusiasm for learning new trends and techniques in hairdressing to continuously improve your craft
