SENIOR PROJECT LEAD

Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000 annually, depending on experience
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are partnering with a highly regarded architecture and design practice to identify a senior design professional with deep experience in seniors living and continuum of care environments alongwith healthcare and multi-family projects.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Architect or Interior Designer who understands the complexities of designing environments across varying levels of seniors care and who thrives within an integrated, multidisciplinary studio environment.
The successful candidate will bring a collaborative mindset, strong project leadership skills, and the ability to work seamlessly across architecture and interior design disciplines. For the right individual, this role offers the potential to lead significant Seniors Living projects and contribute to the continued growth and direction of the firm's Seniors Living sector.
THE ROLE
Working as part of an integrated team of architects, interior designers, and technologists, the Senior Project Lead will provide leadership, direction, and coordination across complex Seniors Living projects.
This individual will play a key role in guiding project teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring design intent is successfully carried through all phases of a project. Depending on background and experience, the role may involve leadership across both architecture and interiors projects.
While Seniors Living will be a core focus, the successful candidate may also contribute to projects in related sectors, including multifamily residential and mixed-use development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and coordinate Seniors Living projects from concept through project delivery.
- Provide senior-level direction and mentorship to integrated project teams.
- Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, technologists, consultants, and client stakeholders.
- Guide project teams through the complexities of Continuum of Care environments and varying levels of seniors care.
- Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support project planning, coordination, quality, and delivery.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the firm's Seniors Living portfolio and sector expertise.
- Support and mentor emerging professionals within the studio.
- Participate in related multifamily and mixed-use projects as required.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience in architecture, interior design, or a closely related design discipline.
- Demonstrated experience working on Seniors Living and Continuum of Care projects.
- Senior-level leadership, direction, and coordination experience on a minimum of three Seniors Living projects.
- Professional background as either an Architect or Interior Designer.
- Experience working within an integrated, multidisciplinary team of architects, interior designers, and technologists.
- Strong project leadership and team coordination capabilities.
- A collaborative leadership style and genuine interest in creating thoughtful environments for seniors.
- Strong client communication and relationship-management skills.
- Experience in multifamily residential and/or mixed-use projects is considered an asset.
- Revit proficiency is beneficial but is not considered a critical requirement for this position.
