As a Quality Control Technician for North Arc Precision, you will play a key role in maintaining a high standard of product safety and quality of incoming and outgoing products.
Key Responsibilities:
· Performing incoming inspections using state of the art metrology systems
· Documenting inspection results by completing reports and logs
· Performing First Article inspections and Pre-Production Approval Process
· Generating detailed Non-Conformance Reports to communicate feedback to vendors
· Communicating required quality or process adjustments to internal production supervisors
· Correctly interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to understand the requirements to perform inspection successfully
· Assisting in generation and implementation of inspection plans
· Programming and operating Keyence vision measurement systems (previous experience not required)
· Programming and operating CMM (training provided)
· Assisting Quality Engineer to resolve quality related issues in a timely manner
· Supporting R&D and engineering efforts by performing accurate measurements and provide detailed findings
· Participate in continuous improvement activities of products and processes
· Maintaining safe and healthy work environment following standards, procedures, and complying with legal regulations
Requirements:
· Clear and fluent verbal and written English communication required
· Post-Secondary school education in Mechanical Engineering and Quality Engineering
· 3-5 years of quality control related work experience in ISO certified environment required
· Experience working with GD&T is an asset
· This position is 100% in-office at our facility in Mississauga
· Intermediate computer skills are an asset
· PAL is an asset
