Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and "hands-on" Vacation Rental Property Management Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in property management, customer service, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have skills in general upkeep and "odd jobs," required for home maintenance, have strong organizational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service to guests and property owners alike. The position involves supporting daily operations, maintaining accurate records, and fostering positive relationships within the vacation rental community.
Duties
- Respond promptly to tenant inquiries via phone, email or in person, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
- Provide any last minute maintenance to ensure smooth check-ins, i.e. fix door handle, troubleshoot plumbing, electrical and AV issues.
- Property walk through following guest departures for guest damages.
- Manage data entry tasks related to guest information, payments, maintenance requests, and inventory.
- Facilitate communication between , owners, support staff and vendors to ensure smooth operations
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, record keeping, and preparing reports on property records
- Contribute to maintaining a positive customer relationship management environment by providing professional assistance
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable regarding general household maintenance and ability to workout issues on new items.
- Ability to negotiate effectively and build positive relationships with guests and vendors
- Familiarity with property management software such as Guesty is desirable
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and filing tasks
- Knowledge of property management practices and CMMS systems is advantageous
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in real estate or property management is a plus

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
