Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Moldmaker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in machining, assembly, and CAD design. This role involves creating, repairing, and maintaining molds used in production processes, ensuring precision and quality standards are met. The position offers an opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment and contribute to the development of high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools, welding equipment, and other machining tools to construct or repair molds
- Measure components with calipers and other precision instruments to ensure accuracy
- Assemble mold components with attention to detail, adhering to specifications
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on molds to optimize manufacturing efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop new mold designs or improve existing ones
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout all tasks
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes, assembly, welding, and tooling
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and mathematical calculations relevant to machining tasks
- Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, and other precision measurement devices
- Experience in manufacturing or moldmaking environment is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
