Position: Industrial Electrician
Location: Kitchener, ON
Shift: Continental Rotation Shift
Pay: $40 - $44 per hour + Shift Premium + Benefits
Responsibilities
- Work as a member of the Maintenance team to complete scheduled PMs in a timely manner and make recommendations for continuous improvement of our PM program and the equipment.
- Respond to breakdowns with a sense of urgency.
- Complete detailed work logs for all repairs, to help our predictive maintenance process.
- Understand and apply the Electrical Safety Code at all times.
- Provide guidance and training to apprentices and junior tradespersons.
- Other duties as required.
- Will be working a rotating, 12-hour continental shift schedule (2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights)
Qualifications
- College diploma in an Electrical program
- Licensed 442A or 309A Electrician with strong working knowledge of the Electrical Safety Code
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a fast-paced, highly automated manufacturing environment
- Experience with PLC’s, variable frequency drives and motion control
- Experience with printing and high-speed packaging equipment would be considered an asset.
