Position: Pharmacy Technician

Key Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Pharmacy Operations Manager and the broader pharmacy team, responsibilities include:
- Warmly greeting patients and confirming the accuracy of all required prescription information prior to filling
- Accurate data entry of patient and prescription information
- Third-party adjudication when required
- Accurate dispensing of prescription medications in accordance with all regulations
- Maintaining pharmacy inventory through established control systems
- Responding to general OTC inquiries and referring patients to the Pharmacist when appropriate
- Handling prescription pick-up and patient interactions at the pharmacy counter
- Assisting with pharmacy cashier duties as needed
- Preparing compliance packaging
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a pharmacy setting
- Strong commitment to delivering an excellent and friendly patient experience
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Clear, professional, and compassionate communication skills
- Self-motivated and reliable
- Comfortable with pharmacy software and data entry
- Experience with Kroll / TELUS Health is considered an asset
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Employment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced criminal record check and successful completion of a minimum one paid trial shift
