Registered Dental Hygienist

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice in Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience and be proficient in using iTero, Dentrix, and ClearDent software systems. Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, scaling, root planning, and periodontal maintenance.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-operative instructions.
- Take digital x-rays and intraoral photos as necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix and ClearDent.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety protocols.
- Skilled in periodontal therapy, root planing
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree from an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Current registration and good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
- Proficiency in using iTero for intraoral scanning and digital impressions.
- Experience with electronic dental practice management software, specifically Dentrix and ClearDent.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients.
- Confidence in discussing treatment plans and oral health recommendations with patients.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
- Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on advances in dental hygiene practices.
