Hiring General Labour / Upholstery Associates to work in a leading furniture manufacturer located in North York.
Shift:
- Training will be provided on the day shift
- Employees will transition to the afternoon shift after training
- Must be flexible to work overtime when required
Monday to Friday, full-time hours
Compensation: $17.60/hr plus vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Assemble furniture components and products
- Perform upholstery-related tasks, including fabric preparation and installation
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Package, inspect, and move finished products
- Maintain quality standards and follow production procedures
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Perform other general labour duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is an asset
- Upholstery or furniture manufacturing experience is considered a strong asset
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable transportation is an asset
