Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Installer to join our construction and heavy equipment operation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various construction components, operating light machinery, and ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently.
This role includes working on the backend crew including installing Vaults, Peds, tieing in pipe and pipe continuity testing.

Duties
- Operate light equipment such as mini hoes, skid steer and forklifts.
- Conduct horizontal drilling and other specialized installation procedures as needed.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment during projects.
- Perform commercial driving duties to transport materials and equipment between sites safely.
- Assist with site preparation, including grading and remediation activities.
- Follow project plans and specifications to ensure accurate installation of structures or systems.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and operational standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope.
Requirements
- Proven experience installing vaults and pedestals on Fiber Optic projects.
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- class 5 drivers license with proven ability to pull a trailer behind pick up trucks.
- Skills in horizontal drilling, grading, paving, and general construction practices preferred.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or the ability to obtain one is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites and heavy machinery operation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials or equipment as required.
- Prior experience in construction or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for specific tasks.
