Responsibilities

- Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes behavior management, social skills development, and emotional well-being.
- Support children’s individual needs through early intervention strategies and special education techniques when necessary.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that enhance childhood development milestones such as language acquisition, motor skills, and cognitive growth.
- Maintain accurate documentation of each child's progress.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate developmental progress, behavioral concerns, and educational strategies.
- Ensure classroom safety, cleanliness, and organization in compliance with childcare regulations and best practices for daycare settings.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school environments is highly desirable-Minimum 1-2 years.
- Knowledge of curriculum development, classroom management, and lesson planning tailored to early childhood learners.
- A strong passion for engaging young learners! Ages 2-5
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Certification or Diploma in childhood development principles
- Classroom experience in childcare for ages 2-5 activities, and teaching physical education, music or art an asset.
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches based on individual childrens needs while maintaining a nurturing environment.
