Experienced Payroll Administrator (Full-Time)
Salary: $55,000–$65,000 annually
Based on experience and specialized certifications
Are you an experienced Payroll Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a detail-oriented professional to manage payroll for approximately 150–200 hourly employees in our busy, seasonal road construction company.

Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on time for 150–200 hourly employees
- Review, verify, and reconcile employee time records
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, company policies, and employment standards where applicable
- Maintain employee payroll records and confidential information
- Process payroll deductions, taxable benefits, ROEs, T4s, and year-end reporting
- Work closely with management and accounting to support payroll and reporting requirements
- Assist with additional administrative and accounting duties as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of payroll experience, preferably in construction or a high-volume environment
- Experience processing payroll for a large hourly workforce
- Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and statutory deductions
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification is considered a strong asset
- Experience with payroll software and Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize competing deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
