Key Responsibilities include:
- Perform general warehouse functions such as; unloading, sorting, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving
- Handle inbound/outbound loads, perform cycle counts, product put away, and replenishment of stock locations
- Operate lifting devices, such as Counterbalance, Raymond Reach and dockstocker
- 70% manual labour, 30% MHE
- Perform work in accordance with account specific Standard Operating Procedures at acceptable productivity levels
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers, and team members
- Work in a safe manner and adhere to all Company policies and procedures, as well as Health and Safety Regulations
- Maintain an organized and clean environment
- Perform other general warehousing duties as assigned by Management
- Coordinate outbound logistics, including managing shipping lanes, preparing shipment paperwork, printing labels, assigning work IDs, and overseeing trailer loading grids.
- Maintain yard control, providing operational alternatives when required and supporting investigations as needed.
- Support warehouse operations by running pre-routes, performing pick-face inquiries, and creating primary pick faces within the WMS.
- Assist leadership—the Team Lead and Operations Manager—with manpower planning and general administrative or operational tasks.
- Communicate with the client by sending receiving reports via email or fax.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced, logistics environment, and familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment.
- A valid forklift operator’s license.
- Ability to and comfort with lifting up to 50lbs and performing repetitive motions.
- The integrity to do what is right for the team and the business as a whole.
- Strong organizational skills, and ability to manage your time and priorities effectively.
- A strong attention to detail, and ability to ensure your commitments are delivered on time and with quality.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 12:30-9:00pm
Location: 8600 Place Marien, Montreal-Est, QC, H3P 3H5
The position holder will be required to communicate regularly with clients, management and colleagues located outside Quebec as part of work and case follow-ups. An intermediate level of spoken and written English is required
