Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paint, stain, or coatings using brushes, rollers, or power tools with precision and attention to detail
- Perform restoration work on damaged or aged surfaces to restore their original appearance
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and carpentry skills for surface preparation and finishing tasks
- Work with schematics and technical instructions to complete industrial or commercial painting projects
- Manage multiple projects efficiently through effective time management practices
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are met
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting, residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial painting
- Knowledge of construction techniques including rigging, carpentry, and the use of hand tools and power tool
- Strong restoration skills for repairing damaged surfaces
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members
- Good time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with caulking techniques and surface preparation processes
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments including construction sites and restoration projects
