A key member within the Site Services team at 214 Carson Co. Inc. our experienced excavator/dozer operator exercises due care in carrying out site works using various heavy equipment and in compliance with generally accepted operating safety practices and procedures. Known for getting the job done right, you practice safety in your every move. You bring experience, judgment and positive attitude to the job, daily, and work well with your colleagues in bringing construction site development plans to reality.

Construction Site Preparation
The experienced excavator/dozer operator will handle cuts, fills, grading, trenching and general excavation with the use of excavators/dozers.
General
- Execution of all Site Service projects and maintenance activities for equipment requirements and assist with material deliveries and timing to ensure completion of job(s) within project timelines;
- Ensure compliance with all 214 Carson Co. Inc. health, safety and quality standards while maximizing productivity of work at sites with optimal equipment utilization and uptime;
Specific
- Start each day with equipment inspections including fluids to ensure reliable operation;
- Assist in the preparation of jobsites prior to the beginning of a project;
- Participate in coordinating and scheduling the day to day work activities of site servicing crew;
- Ensure company equipment, material and work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner consistent with asset management and service management standards to be established;
- Complete and submit all required paperwork on a timely basis including, but not limited to, employee time sheets, equipment daily inspection forms, and time and materials billing summaries;
Qualifications
To be considered for this position you will possess the following skills, attributes and abilities:
- Minimum 3-5 years in site works and construction
- Demonstrable history of operating required machinery and equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Must possess a valid driver’s license (with clean abstract)
- Well organized, independent, and self-managing, with strong English written and oral communication skills
- Quality focused, high attention to detail with excellent problem solving abilities
- Self-directed and task-oriented (with little supervision)
- Jobsite flexibility (must be willing to work beyond boundaries)
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Pay: $32.00-$45.00 per hour

Experience:
- heavy equipment operator: 3 years (preferred)
- 3D grading (e.g. Trimble) in site works and construction: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- driver’s license with Class AZ (with clean abstract) (required)
