Overview
We are seeking experienced carpenters to join our construction team, bringing expertise in various aspects of carpentry and related trades. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in residential, commercial, and industrial projects, demonstrating proficiency with a wide range of tools and techniques. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing and restoration to cabinetry and finishing work, contributing to high-quality construction outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work as required for foundational and structural elements.
- Install cabinets, flooring, tiles, siding, roofing, and other finish carpentry components with precision.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct construction painting, caulking, and sealing to enhance durability and aesthetics.
- Assist with plumbing and electrical tasks when necessary, supporting integrated building systems.
- Execute restoration projects involving woodwork repairs or historical building preservation.
- Estimate project materials and labor needs accurately for planning purposes.
- Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety standards on-site.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to quality standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- Extensive experience with woodworking, cabinetry installation, flooring installation, tile laying, siding, roofing, and masonry.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and specialized equipment for various carpentry tasks.
- Knowledge of concrete forming techniques and rebar installation for structural work.
- Familiarity with construction painting techniques and caulking for finishing touches.
- Ability to perform plumbing and electrical work or handyman repairs is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, scaffolding, and working at heights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read technical drawings and adapt plans as needed.
