Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and hands-on IT Consultant to help our company optimize technology, improve productivity, and simplify daily operations. This role will focus on maximizing the value of Google Workspace, improving hardware and software management, and creating practical processes and training materials for employees.
The ideal candidate is someone who can assess our current tools and workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, recommend smart and cost-effective solutions, and help employees adopt better ways of working.
Responsibilities
- Audit and optimize our Google Workspace environment, including security settings, Shared Drives, automations, integrations, and collaboration tools.
- Identify underused features and implement solutions that improve productivity and workflow efficiency.
- Assess company hardware and software needs, including laptops, mobile devices, phone lines, operational tools, etc.
- Define hardware standards and recommendations based on employee roles and operational requirements.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes for company devices and user accounts.
- Create clear documentation, tutorials, and best-practice guides for employees.
- Deliver simple and effective training sessions for non-technical users.
- Ensure devices, accounts, and company data follow security best practices.
- Implement and maintain backup, archiving, and data protection procedures.
- Support the company in building a more organized, scalable, and self-sufficient technology environment.
Skills
- Relevant Diploma or Certificate
- Proven experience managing IT assets, hardware, and operational technology.
- Strong expertise in Google Workspace administration and optimization.
- Experience improving workflows through technology and automation.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple and practical terms.
- Experience creating user documentation, training materials, or internal guides.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities proactively.
- Experience evaluating and recommending software solutions or SaaS platforms.
