Required Immediately - Experienced Metal Fabricator Required. 5 Years experience preferred.
Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of metal components
- Set up and operate metal fabricating machines, such as shears, saws, presses, drills, and grinders
- Cut, bend, shape, and weld metal components to assemble structural forms
- Inspect completed workpieces to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to grind, deburr, and finish metal surfaces
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator with minimum 5 years experience
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques, including cutting, bending, shaping, and welding
- Familiarity with various types of metalworking machinery and tools
- Ability to accurately measure and mark materials for fabrication
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
