GIGG Express Inc. is looking to hire 310T/310J Licensed Truck and Trailer Mechanic for our workshops in Mississauga. Must have experience either with truck repair or trailer body work.
Shift: Day & Evening Shift
Pay rate: Negotiable, based on experiences and qualifications
Skills Required for Truck Mechanic:
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport trucks
- Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
- Diagnose mechanical/electrical problems.
- Preventative maintenance
Skills Required for Trailer Mechanic:
- Responsible for the repair and maintenance of trailers
- Fabricate and weld, custom designs and install interiors into trailers
- Repair trailer roof
- Body work experience must
Licenses:
- 310T or 310J Mechanic/Apprentice License or working towards Certification
Requirements:
- Must have minimum 1 year of hands on experience either with truck repair or trailer body work
- Experience in computer diagnostics preferred
- Must have own safety shoes and own toolbox
- Physical effort and dexterity is required, lifting up to 75 pounds, including service-related tools
- Exposure to exhaust, grease and shop noise
