Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our sales operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of dealership management, sales strategies, and team development. This role involves overseeing daily dealership functions, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service to drive business growth and operational excellence. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and team communication.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, merchandising, inventory management, and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and improve overall store performance.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a high-performing team capable of delivering excellent customer experiences.
- Manage payroll, budgeting, and bookkeeping activities to maintain financial health of the store.
- Oversee purchasing, pricing strategies, and POS systems to optimize profitability.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide training & development opportunities, and foster a positive work environment.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Monitor store compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Utilize organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with strong leadership capabilities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication skills, and proficiency in phone etiquette.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are preferred for effective team management and customer engagement.
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting, training & development, sales management, and merchandising.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across various responsibilities.
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, pricing strategies, and administrative tasks such as bookkeeping and payroll processing.
- Experience in marketing strategies, budgeting, supervising staff, interviewing candidates, and overseeing retail sales operations.
- Ability to lead teams effectively through coaching and mentoring while fostering a collaborative environment.
