The position of North America (NA) Graphic Designer will focus on graphic and information design for priority pursuits and proposals, as well as various prepositioning and business development efforts. This role demands an understanding of graphic design fundamentals, along with creativity, effective collaboration skills, and proficiency in technical software to execute design concepts quickly and efficiently. This position requires the ability to collaborate seamlessly and effectively with diverse teams, including proposal managers, capture managers, and technical staff on identified pursuits. This includes preparing formal and informal client solicitations, such as requests for qualifications (RFQ), requests for proposals (RFP), pre-solicitation efforts, and interviews.
Creative Deliverables: Create effective documents and presentations, with a strong understanding of proposal and presentation psychology to clearly convey messages, themes, and evaluation criteria
Infographics: Develop informative graphics that convey complex information, including infographics, figures, charts, maps, and diagram, and support messaging and themes
Presentations: Develop creative custom presentations with animation, sound, or other components, collaborating with proposal teams
Templates: Develop customized templates for client pursuits and presentations
- Photo Editing: Adherence to best practices in photo editing and color correction, with a focus on headshot retouching and project photography enhancement
Custom Packaging: Design customized covers and tabs, coordinating with vendors and production staff
Design Explorations: Communicate and articulate design briefs and creative options to stakeholders
Comment Processing: Process comments and edits to graphic elements, collaborating with subject experts or authors to finalize and resolve issues
Vendor Requirements: Develop graphics that meet specified vendor requirements, including graphics for exhibits, boards, or promotional items
Document Finalization: Oversee and support the finalization of documents for production, packaging, or shipping, providing coaching and support to junior designers
Workload Management: Possess initiative, skill, and personal commitment to manage multiple projects and details concurrently, follow-up, and bring tasks and projects to full completion
Pursuit Team Participation: Participate in planning, storyboarding/content planning, and reviews (e.g., Pink and Red) as part of the pursuit team
Technical Support: Provide technical or logistics support for presentations, video conferencing meetings, storyboarding sessions, key review meetings, and final document reviews
