Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team in Brantford. Level 2 skills to take impressions, xrays and photos. If you have taken the Orthodontic module we could use your skills. Our level 3 assistant is off for the summer and she was a great help. The ideal candidate will support orthodontic procedures, assist with patient care, and ensure smooth clinic operations. We are using a new bracketing system, Pitts 21 so training will be needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Orthodontist during patient procedures, including bracket placement, adjustments, and appliance fittings
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments as needed
- Take impressions, Ortho photos, radiographs to include Pan and Ceph
Skills
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques with experience in orthodontics preferred
- Familiarity with dental software Orthotrac
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $26.00-$34.00 per hour
