An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Line Cook to join our team at Oretta Hospitality. We are looking for Line Cooks who specialize in Garde Manger and Pasta stations.
About The Role
We are looking for Full-time Line Cooks to join our new location: Oretta Front St W.
We are not looking for anyone unable to work under 40 hours a week. Shifts will depend on business needs and we are looking for Full-time.
Minimum 3 years of Line Cook experience.
Wage will depend on experience but range between 18-20/hr.
You will report to our Head Chef and Sous Chefs. Following recipes with skill and consistency, we are looking for Line Cooks with Italian cuisine menu knowledge with much consideration and care for sauces, making pasta dishes from scratch, mains with care and consistency, and garnishing with attention to detail. If you have a passion for cooking authentic Italian dishes, we want to meet with you!
The ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, has experience prepping for menu changeover throughout the day, has an open availability and is reliable with a strong work ethic. A strong team player who is highly organized and able to multitask and a minimum of 1-year BOH kitchen experience is required. Following recipes with skill, speed, and consistency is imperative. A love for Italian cuisine is an asset. Ability to work daytime shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays is a must as we are undergoing an exciting new opening.
