Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and returns
- Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick checkout processes
- Support store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting shopping environment
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to explain product features and benefits clearly
- Practice effective phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities (English plus additional languages) are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Experience in merchandising, product demos, or technical sales can enhance performance in this role
- Strong organizational skills, basic math proficiency, and excellent communication skills are essential for success
- Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
