This role is essential in supporting various construction and maintenance projects, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. As a Laborer, you will work alongside skilled tradespeople, contributing to a variety of projects while gaining valuable experience in the field.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under the supervision of experienced staff.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks on time and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition by cleaning and performing minor repairs as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- Basic knowledge of safety practices in a labor environment is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on various tasks as required by the project needs.
