Requirements
- 2+ years of experience leading a landscaping or grounds maintenance crew in Canada
- Strong working knowledge of BC plant material, seasonal maintenance, and pruning practices
- Experience maintaining residential and/or strata properties with client‑facing expectations
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract
- Comfortable using a smartphone for time entry, photos, and daily communication
- Confident operating standard landscape maintenance equipment (mowers, trimmers, hedgers, blowers)
- Ability to plan daily work, assign tasks, and keep jobs on schedule
Nice‑to‑Haves
- Landscape Horticulturist Red Seal or equivalent certification
- Ability to read basic drawings or planting plans
- First Aid certification
- Experience working on the North Shore or similar high‑end residential markets
Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside a small maintenance crew on daily service routes
- Complete hands‑on tasks including mowing, pruning, planting, trimming, hedging, blowing, and mulching
- Assign daily tasks and ensure work meets quality, safety, and time expectations
- Communicate professionally with clients on site and represent the company well
- Coordinate with management regarding schedules, site needs, and upcoming work
- Report progress, issues, or client feedback clearly and promptly
- Ensure all work is completed in line with safety standards and company procedures
- Adapt to weather conditions, site changes, and seasonal priorities

You’re comfortable setting expectations, solving problems on site, and dealing directly with clients when needed.T his is not a purely supervisory or office‑based role, you’ll be working outdoors alongside your crew every day.
